Taste Early Winter

Early Winter Snow

All preparations are done. Now it’s a matter of surviving the winter. All five of your Common Senses play a part in your immune system. A healthy immune system prevents illness. Prevention is easier than cure.

Symptoms of this season are from the Common Senses of…
Hearing (Spirit): Depression, Sluggishness, Lots of colds /flu, Sinus congestion, Bronchitis/Pneumonia, Water retention, Eye problems, Eating disorders, Skin outbreaks, Isolationism, Judgmental
…and Taste (Mind/Adapting): Digestion problems, Sleep problems, Unhappy but not depressed, Sudden fatigue, Cravings, Twitching, Joint pain, Weight management, Anxiety, Unable to finish anything

Your Common Sense of Taste is in charge of your branin and spinal cord, waste management, digestion, adapting, handling your emotions, communication, and needing to be heard.

Body – There is ONE simple thing you can do to avoid all colds and flu season…and have more fun. Just step away from the sugar. From Halloween until New Years is a salute to sugar in this culture. Sweetness in your diet makes it easier to deal with emotions. Too much makes you worry and causes symptoms from vitamin loss.

All things in moderation. If you have a delicious holiday treat, enjoy every bite.  Then eat well the next day while your body deals with the consequences. The rule is simple. Don’t overindulge in sweets every day, every other day is a wiser choice. Use natural sweeteners instead of sugar to avoid symptoms. Your body will appreciate it.

Sugar (excessive) depletes Vitamins B Complex, B3, Phosphorus and Potassium
B Complex: Acne, anemia, poor appetite, constipation, depression, dry skin, exhaustion, insomnia and unusual irritability.
B3 Niacin: Muscle soreness for no reason, muscle cramping, insomnia, mouth sores, loss of appetite, dry skin
Phosphorus: Exhaustion, obesity, loss of appetite, arthritis, trouble with bones and teeth, gum disease, trouble breathing, constant nervousness.
Potassium: Cardiac arrest, slowed heart rate, overall weakness, dry skin, constipation, unusual nervousness or excitability, digestive troubles and insomnia.

Sugar (processed) depletes Vitamin B2 and Choline
B2 Riboflavin: Mouth cankers, skin problems, excessive hair loss, flaky skin around nose and forehead, dizziness
Choline: Cirrhosis of the iver, fatty deposits on the liver, bleeding stomach ulcers, high blood pressure and hardening of the arteries.

Mind – People with a majority of traits in the Common Sense of Taste are nurturing. They naturally want to care for everyone around them all year round. This time of holidays is a wonderful time of socializing with friends and family during the holidays. Nurture them with your traditions, or create a new one that would make everyone involved smile to their bones. Tailor the time to whoever needs it the most.

Everyone is inside for the winter. It takes a special kind of person to harmonize a household. My mother was a master at this. There were six kids in my house growing up. All different, all listened to and understood by my mom. The holidays were magical because of her. We all felt special. We all felt heard. We all felt special. Her talent was to listen carefully to what each of us really needed. The perfect hostess makes everyone in the room feel like tat.

Spiritual needs that should to be present in your life…or symptoms happen.
Charisma, healthy self–esteem, appreciates uniqueness in others, complete control of your emotions and thoughts, decisive, committed, radiate joy, patient, compassionate, empathy, unconditional love, trusting, accepting, forgiveness, okay spending time alone, no problem expressing hopes and dreams, confident, honest, wise, strong sense of freedom, discrete, independent, feeling heard
